Functional Integrity

Utility

We do not sell decoration. Every object in the index must serve a distinct mechanical or practical purpose. If it does not work, it is not listed.

[CRT-02]

Material Honesty

Composition

Objects must be constructed from honest materials: Steel, Aluminum, Ceramic, Glass, or Technical Polymers. We reject faux finishes, veneers, and planned obsolescence.

[CRT-03]

Provenance & Rarity

Scarcity

For vintage items, we prioritize objects with a traceable lineage or those that represent a distinct era of industrial manufacturing (e.g., Dieter Rams era Braun, Mid-century Olivetti).

02 // Condition Grading

GRADE A [MINT]

Item is in pristine, unused condition. Includes original packaging where applicable. No visible patina or wear.

GRADE B [EXCELLENT]

Item shows minor signs of handling or shelf wear consistent with age. Functionality is 100% unimpaired. Cosmetic flaws are negligible.

GRADE C [FIELD-USED]

Item exhibits distinct patina, scratches, or wear patterns from heavy use. Structurally sound but visually weathered. We strictly select for 'beautiful' wear.
